Terms of Use
The ground rules for using this website and submitting races.
Last updated: 18 June 2026
1. About these terms
These terms apply to your use of niultrarunning.com, operated by the Northern Ireland Ultra Running Association ("NIURA"). By using the site you agree to them.
2. Race information disclaimer
Race listings are published in good faith based on information supplied by race organisers and publicly available sources. NIURA does not organise the races listed (unless explicitly stated) and is not responsible for changes to dates, courses, entry fees, cancellations, or for any aspect of the events themselves.
Always verify race details directly with the organiser before entering or travelling.
3. Submitting a race
By submitting a race through this site, you confirm that:
- You are the race organiser or are authorised by them to share the information.
- The information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
- You have the right to share any text, images, or contact details you submit.
- NIURA may edit submissions for clarity, formatting, or consistency before publishing, and may decline to publish a submission at its discretion.
Your contact details (email, phone) are kept private and used only by NIURA admins to follow up about your race. See our Privacy Policy.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the site to:
- Submit false, misleading, or spam content.
- Infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, or other rights.
- Harass, threaten, or defame any person or organisation.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its databases, or other users' accounts.
5. Liability
The site is provided "as is". NIURA is a volunteer-run community organisation and accepts no liability for any loss, injury, or damage arising from reliance on information published here, or from participation in any event listed. Nothing in these terms limits liability where the law does not allow it.
6. Intellectual property
The NIURA name, logo, and original site content are owned by NIURA. Race information submitted by organisers remains theirs; by submitting it you grant NIURA a non-exclusive licence to publish it on this site and related communications.
7. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Northern Ireland.
