About the race

The 5th edition of the Dublin Mountain Trail Festival (DMTF) will take place from Friday, 9 October to Saturday, 10 October 2026. Organized by the Dublin Mountain Running Club, this year's event moves to a completely new location in Ballinascorney, County Dublin, featuring brand-new, self-navigated routes that cut across the Dublin and Wicklow mountains. 120km Solo Mountain Trail Race: Begins at 8:00 PM on Friday, 9 October. It features roughly 4,400 meters of elevation gain across two loops of the 60km course. 120km Team Relay: Also begins at 8:00 PM on Friday, 9 October. Designed for teams of four runners, teammates can swap out at any location and time along the trail. 60km Mountain Trail Race: Begins at 8:00 AM on Saturday, 10 October. It tasks runners with roughly 2,200 meters of total elevation gain.
